Why does this still happen in this country? Why are our so called public utilities cutting off anyone's gas or electric at this time of year - especially without finding out the background situation and adding insult to injury, following the example of our boys in blue by hiding their incompetence behind the data protection act. Maybve if we all just took a minute to think of any older/vulnerable people (yes yes I know not all old people need looking after) living nearby and check to see if they are able to keep warm we can all do a bit to help.
