Trip #2 on the Calder Valley Ale Trail

A second trip on the Calder Valley Ale Trail

A report from June's trip to Halifax, Sowerby Bridge, Hebden Bridge and Castleton. A cracking day, and as the report says, Halifax was a winner!

Calder Valley Railway Ale Trail list of pubs now up.

https://calder-vale-ale.uk/pubs.html
The list is relatively mobile friendly, has a link to the website or FaceBook page for each of the pubs on the Trail as well as a map from the station to the pub (Google Maps) and a link to the train times from each station to the next up or down the line.

Its not perfect, but it does give a relatively easy way to check when the next train is, to help you make that all important decision whether to 'stay for another' or head on to the station and the next pub.

We'll probably find out a way to put the actual next up/down train time on the page, rather than use a link, but that may need something more than just a static page.
