Over 6 weeks since opening a so-called on-line account with Santander, I still can't log in. I've had 7 or 8 letters (by snail-mail durrrr) but they've still not managed to send me letter 2 of 2 with a registration code.
A friend who is suffering mental health & addiction problems has been met with absolutely no help whatsoever. She's on benefits, and has been struggling not to go overdrawn, but is being hammered with 175-200 pounds of charges every month. She is switching to the co-op bank and the cashier at the local branch told us thet are getting 2 out of 3 new accounts form dissatisfied ex-Santander customers.
