BBC - Food - Recipes - Caldo verde (Portuguese green soup)
Tried making this the other day...several things to note:
1)The recipe in the book lists Port as one of the ingredients - guess who didn't read the recipe all the way through and bought a seemingly unneccessary bottle of port? Doh! (Tastes OK tho!)
2) When it says continue sweating the onions and sausage I think you'd have to let them fry a bit more than just sweating to get the chorizo looking like it does in the picture in the book.
3) If someone else is getting the cabbage, make sure they understand you need green cabbage! it really doesn't look so nice with white!
Its a mixed bag! Sort of a public favourites page with comments, stuff and links on kite, buggies, gardening, chainsaw carving, allotments and general political issues that everyone should be getting upset about. Has been called NO LO GO, then NO LOG (0) - latest name seems to fit quite well we bring you the ELECTRIC STUFF SACK !!!

At the Crossroads
At the Crossroads
An interesting and low key blog about 'things SES' ...though I haven't brought myself to read it all yet...don't want to really as my mind seems to slip into that sanctimonious, 'holier than thou', Queen's speech/BBC received pronunciation that SES people seemed to love to speak when I last had any contact with that organisation.
I also noted that the blog header proclaims 'A place to meet for honest and positive dialogue about the School,...' almost as if implying all other sources of information or dialogue about the School were automatically dishonest and negative. Would it be more 'honest' if it specifically mentioned the SES and openly linked to the SES web page?
