Egg.com admit to lying

Interesting I have now received an e-mail from egg.com Cutomer Service stating that one of their operators has given me 'incorrect information'. Now thats what I would have called lying...but maybe it doesn't matter anymore....

Dear Michael,

I'm afraid that my colleague had given you incorrect in formation previously.

The information in last message that you received was correct and I would like to apologise for any confusion caused.
